Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Developer for Web-based Applications. This person will spend 60% of their time on Server-Side programming in C#.net and 40% of their time on UI Development using common tools such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS etc. We would also like experience with Twitter Bootstap and Backbone. This position is not building websites. Current team size is approximately 15+ members and soon growing to approximately 25.

Must Have Skills:

  • C#.net development, Scrum, Agile (Java experience is also acceptable)
  • 4-5 years of experience developing User Interfaces (UI) using common tools such as HTML 5, CSS, and Javascript
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to be utilized both internally and externally.
  • Strong technical ability with an aptitude for learning
  • Excellent analytic skills and experience trouble shooting complex software problems.
  • “Speak-up” mentality, have the ability to professional challenge and debate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software / Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with databases and reporting tools (oracle and SQL Server, Linux OS)
  • Experience with additional languages such as PHP, Ruby, C# .net. Bootstrap and Backbone.
  • Background in Instrumentation, Data Acquisition and control systems

Positions are located in Calgary, Alberta. No relocations available, must have current legal working status for Canada.
