Accounts Payable Clerk / Admin Assistant

The client manufactures hardware and software technology used in Oil and Gas Servicing.
The AP Clerk / Admin Assistant will perform all typical daily functions related to AP (Payables) for this Canadian based, 75 person shop here in Calgary. There are 5 people in accounting including this role and this person will report to the Accounting Manager. In addition to AP (major part of the role), this person will assist in an admin function with such duties as coordinating meetings, ordering office supplies, being the go-to person for internal facilities issues etc. (minor part of the role).
We are looking for someone with a patient and positive personality willing to service the accounting role and help out wherever required.
- A minimum of 2 years of corporate AP experience, preferably in a sizeable company.
- Knowledge of AP systems including the use of Excel.
- Great, easy-going, patient personality and strong communication skills
- It is a very strong asset to have knowledge of NAVISION accounting software
