A local, Montreal author is looking for a social media and publicity intern to help spread the word about his novel and his nonprofit organization whose purpose is to help finance the building of homes, hospitals and schools in third world countries.
This is where you come in. We are looking for someone who will be instrumental in maintaining our social media presence and increasing our visibility. Someone who will act as the voice of our organization, and who is comfortable engaging their audience on the various social media arenas.
+ Stellar communication skills;
+ An excellent command of the English and French languages, as well as the ability to compellingly string a few good words together;
+ Social and enthusiastic;
+ Literature and writing aficionado is a plus;
+ Extremely computer and internet savvy, with substantial knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, TweetDeck, Hootsuite, etc);
+ And almost above all, creative, resourceful, and has no problem taking a ton of initiative.
This is an unpaid internship, offering invaluable experience in the world field, and a letter of recommendation. Weekly expectations are between 10-15 hours per week, spread out however you like. The duration of this internship will be three months, starting immediately.
