We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the dual role of customer service representative and marketing assistant at our headquarters in Richmond. The hours are from 9:00 to 3:00, Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, a friendly demeanor and excellent time management abilities.
The key duties consist of:
- Communicating with customers via phone and email
- Troubleshooting products issues
- Receiving and processing orders and invoices
- Updating and maintaining database
- Updates for the website
- Processing sample orders
- Monitoring company Twitter, Blog and Facebook
- Assisting the Marketing Manager on specific projects
Fluency in English is a must; a conversational level of French would be strength; knowledge of Simply Accounting is an asset, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
A strong knowledge of MS Publisher, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat is desirable. The candidate must have a minimum of a High School degree and at least two years' experience in a customer service role.
Social media and marketing experience would also give a distinct advantage.
