Specific skills required: Purchase general and specialized materials or business services, consult with suppliers, review quotes, determine contract terms and conditions. Award contracts or recommend contract awards, establish delivery schedules, monitor progress of delivery schedules and contact suppliers to resolve issues.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Face-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail. Proficient in Excel . Access experience is an asset.

Must have experience in generating purchase orders or fairly significant dollar value. This is not a commodity purchasing nor inventory replenishing position.

Completion of high school, completion of college or related training is required.

Purchasing experience in manufacturing and or construction is an asset
