The Medical Office Administrator (MOA) performs and co-ordinates administrative duties to ensure excellence in the patient relations and administrative efficiency and accuracy. .


Oversee and perform daily reception desk duties, including, but not limited to, answering the phone, filing, archiving old charts, booking patients, contacting referrals and handling mail and faxes. Ensure all consult and follow-up notes are sent out in a timely manner. Follow-up and manage physicians’ dictations.

Ensure professional interactions with patients. Address patients' questions and educate them regarding the benefits of improved sleep.

Contact and track all referrals and ensure that they are called within a timely manner to set up appropriate appointments.

Handle and obtain payments.

Maintain all office supplies..

Track clinic metrics.

Any other administrative duties as assigned.


Medical Office administration experience is an asset. Also, medical office administrative experience from a specicilazed clinic is preferred.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

A professional and mature approach to customer service is a must. Excellent skills in the following areas: written and verbal communication, organization, problem solving and multi-tasking. Also, an ability to work independently is necessary.

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate as an active participant with others
