We are looking for a programmer developer for one of our public sector client in Toronto, this is a 7 months contract opportunity with a possibility of further extension.

Requirements and Details:

Scope of Services and Deliverable – The Programmer/Developer will work in partnership with client staff to expertly and effectively identify, diagnose, resolve, enhance, test, and implement .NET-based applications.

The developer/consultant will be responsible for providing support by performing the following support/development tasks:

 Application design, development, and enhancement of an enterprise-wide .NET application called “Security Data System” (SDS).
 Changes to SDS application, based on user requirements.
 Working with Microsoft Premier Support and in-house application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct application code review and analyze, review, and implement changes accordingly to improve application performance, better alignment of industry standards, and compliance of Accessibility Ontario Disability Act (AODA), if applicable.
 Requirements gathering/analysis design/coding/testing.
 Providing user training and documentation for any function/code changes.Technical Skills
 Expert (minimum 5 years) and recent (within last 6 months) experience coding in Visual C#.NET.
 Expert (minimum 5 years) experience with Visual Studio/.NET/VB.NET/ASP.NET programming.
 Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework, IIS Servers, Microsoft SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2012).
 Experience in full cycle application development.
 Project Management.
 Structured System Design and Development.
OPS Experience
 Architectural Design/Review Process.
 Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) experience.
 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, oral and written skills, and a demonstrated ability to deal tactfully with people.
