Order Entry/Invoicing Clerk

Location: Burnaby (south), BC
Salary/Wage: $34,000-$36,000 per year
Status: Full Time, Employee
Schedule: Mon to Fri - 6:30am start (5:30am on Monday)

Our on-going goal is to provide the healthiest, most progressive natural pet products available with impeccable customer service.

The primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Enter orders into database and generate pick-slips for over 400 Customers and 1500 products
  • Contact customers regarding order discrepancies if required
  • Apply applicable discounts and freight charges to invoices as required
  • Retrieve and organize customer orders from all related sources
  • Work cohesively with customer service department and warehouse regarding order status and revisions
  • Work cohesively with warehouse regarding product availability and inventory accuracy
  • Work with the accounting department to ensure that customers are in good standing order
  • Create and update reports as requested
  • Other related administrative duties as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Must have 2+ years previous experience in high volume invoicing entry
  • Must have the ability to concentrate and maintain data entry accuracy during periods of high volume invoicing
  • Ability to work exceptionally well in a team environment
  • Dependable and punctual with an excellent attendance record
  • Must possess strong time management and organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
