Right place if work is your life
Analyst (Current Employee) –  Rather not say22 August 2016
In Analytics & Insights dept, you will work long hours and under lots of pressure and stress.

Work/life balance is what you'll sacrifice.

Senior managers will tell you that you are doing your job wrong or that you are not prioritizing right while the clear issue is that people are being stretched by both client and internal asks. There are so many unnecessary make work project that kills people but these things are top agenda items for directors and AVP so that they can promoted... I still don't even know what the AVP does!!!

Unethical ways of trying to rip off clients for more money...causes moral dilemmas

Current senior leaders are not people leaders... probably why so many quit in recent months
Pros
Some smart people and place where you can learn
Cons
Competing priorities, pressure from senior leaders, lies and deceit, non transparent, gossip, mean girls/boys environment

Good place to work - if you are in the right dept
Administrative Coordinator, BD (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON4 February 2016
Next to no training. Worked there for 3 weeks before I was fired for not being "intuitive" enough for the boss and knowing her preferences automatically. Expected to be a expert and know everything about the organization and how it operates from the moment you walk in the door. Took a full week before employee card arrived allowing me to use a printer. New employee set up is brutal. Perks are huge though.
Pros
on site gym, cafeteria, pay and benefits
Cons
lots of corporate training but little job training

Great place to work. Work was sometimes repetitive and mundane but people were friendly and company events were fun.

I wasn't sure where my career growth would go as promotion prospects seemed limited. However, management was open to having your role expand.
Pros
great company culture
Cons
Repetitive work

Great opportunity to learn and great activities like ping pong, pool
Bilingual Premier Lead (Current Employee) –  Mississauga1 July 2015
Working at Airmiles turned out to be a great opportunity to learn and push myself further than I ever did in a job before. My supervisors were always supportive and pushed me to take advantage of the companies job advancement opportunities. I had a great experience working with my colleagues, we were always willing to help each other. The hardest part of the job was meeting the rigid quarterly requirements but the group of people i worked with made everything lighter and manageable.
Pros
many financial bonuses
Cons
employee turn around

No balance and poor managers
Former Associate (Former Employee) –  Toronto9 June 2014
Very good business model but expectation is you work long hours consistently and are on call with a blackberry. Many managers are moved into their roles because they did a good job as a non manager, but, they grossly lack leadership skills and are eventually terminated.

There are many pockets in the company that favoritism is glaring. This is most evident in IT, HR, Marketing, International and the Call Centre. This "culture" unfortunately creates a highly dysfunctional working environment.
Pros
business model
Cons
Extremely poor leadership from the top down.
