Logikal Code is a growing start‐up company with endless opportunity and flexibility. We're looking for a bright and talented Junior Web Developer to work at our new state of the art facility in Timmins. This individual must have a solid programming foundation and should be looking for a fast paced environment to expand on their skills.
This position starts as a one-year full-time intern contract with the possibility of extension. Applicants must be Northern Ontario secondary school graduates 29 years of age or under who recently graduated from an accredited college or university. Graduates from a high school outside of Northern Ontario who have resided in the North for at least one year are also eligible. Mature graduates may be considered.
Required Technical Skills and Experience

  • Object Oriented Programming experience
  • HTML/XHTML/Javascript/CSS
  • Experience with CMSs such as Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla.
  • Standards Based Web Development
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL (MySQL/Oracle/MS SQL)
  • University Degree or College Certificate in computer science related field required.
  • Experience with Java, hibernate, spring, Struts and SWING an asset
  • Experience or knowledge of responsive web design an asset
  • Experience with C++, C# or Objective C an asset
  • Experience with Dreamweaver, Eclipse, Xcode, MS ACCESS are assets
