We are growing sportswear business that manufacture and design our custom technical apparel brand. Our main clients range from academic institutions to sports clubs across Canada and US.
We are currently looking for a production and marketing person to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for many key functions of the business in two key areas:
Organize customer product design sheets for prospective sales
Proof all production orders prior to going into manufacture
Liaise with customers to ensure the correct production and sales procedures are adhered to.
Ensure after sales service follows ups
Assist in the R&D function of product development
Assist with accounts receivable
Ensure production logistics are kept on track - Liaising with manufacturing facility
Work on developing and implementing our comprehensive marketing plan
Work on developing and implementing our comprehensive marketing calendar
Work with our current social media plan and seek to improve upon it - FB, Twitter,Instagram, etc
Develop our company newsletter
Develop our company blog
Devise product launch marketing plans
Devise product promotion plans
Assist with the website development and SEO tracking.
The role is not limited to the responsibilities and duties listed above.
As we are a growing company the role will evolve and change rapidly as our needs also evolve. It is a dynamic and exciting industry to work in and there is constant change.
We are looking for the following skills/qualifications/attributes:
College education minimum
Previous office based experience
Previous Social media and marketing experience for business
Excellent computer skills - Adobe CS3 or higher a benefit, Excel, MS Office suite
Positive attitude and outlook
