Lifetime Networks is a not for profit organization that offers a variety of individualized supports to people with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
We are looking for a coordinator to manage all aspects of the personal supports Networks including presentations, recruitment, training and support of volunteers, and support to individuals and families.
I am an organized and energetic person. I am motivated by creating connections among people and see the possibilities in others. I am compassionate and understand the challenge of creating friendships, and the loneliness of isolation. I believe in the power of relationships and have experience facilitating connections between people. I am creative, flexible, friendly and able to relate to a diverse group of people and establish trust. I have a degree in counselling or related experience and a post- secondary education. I want to contribute to the organization and be part of its Management Team. I work hard and enjoy making a difference.
What We Will Ask of You
Organize and facilitate monthly Orientation Meetings for families and other interested parties.
Represent Lifetime Networks at various community events and create presentation opportunities.
Meet with families and others interested in establishing a Network.
Develop relationships with the Network families and individuals and create profiles.
Recruit, hire and train Network Facilitators and train Network Volunteers.
Provide monthly professional development meetings for Network Facilitators and connect monthly with families and individuals.
Accurately maintain all files and reports and submit monthly payroll for Network Facilitators.
Some flexibility in hours to accommodate families, individuals and volunteers.
Contribute as an integral part of the Management Team.
