Work in a call center environment from hours of 9:30a-6p M-F.
Typical day of work consists of logging in to phones and computer systems for the start of the day, checking emails,phone messages to possibly write policies quoted previously. I've learned an extensive knowledge from insurance products sold in multiple states. My management and co-workers have been constantly encouraging and supportive of me. The hardest part of job is knowing all different underwriting guidelines of products in each state and tracking them down. The most enjoyable part of the day is making a sale and coaching or being coached on what sales techniques are working and discussing with supervisor on what areas of each state are very good for pricing and good products available.
