My typical day at work was to take care of the food and beverage in the suites for the event that was being held at The Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. It was such a pleasure to take care of the suites.

Great Place to work in the summer
Cashier (Former Employee), Washington, DCAugust 11, 2014
Pros: free lunch and discounts on game days watch the fireworks.
Cons: part - time.
This place has many things to do and discounts for family members, Very important part of team membership. I don't think that their was a really worst part if I would say anything, IS THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH THE GAME DURING WORKING HOURS.

Levy restaurant employee (Former Employee), Miami FloridaAugust 9, 2014
Pros: great benefits, advancement opportunities
My sole responsibilities were to transport merchandise to the corresponding stand locations as well as to label the proper receiving and expiration dates for food products.

There wasn't a hard part of the job due to the fact I greatly enjoyed my employment at levy restaurants.

Cook (Former Employee), Aberdeen, MDAugust 6, 2014
Pros: management treated staff with respect.
Cons: only a seasonal job.
Enjoyed working at job. Only problem was a seasonal job. I was a cook. Learned how to cook properly. My co-workers worked as team. Hardest part of job the demand for food in the beginning of the night. Most enjoyable part of job, staff worked as a team.

SERVER (Former Employee), miAugust 3, 2014
I worked here two different times, once in 2012 for a few months and in 2010 for a few months. When I was working here in 2010, the management was extremely unprofessional and I didn't receive my first and only paycheck until two months later, when I quit because I hadn't been paid. Most of the employees were very lazy and shirked their responsibilities, – more... and the way they closed out the concessions was very flawed.
By 2012, the management changed and it was a much better company to work for. They began hiring employees that were willing to do their job and work hard, they came up with a new system to close out the concessions and an easier way to do inventory. They only thing that didn't change much was that it still took a relatively long time for hem to issue their paychecks. – less

Suites Supervisor (Former Employee), St. Louis, MOAugust 3, 2014
Pros: advancement is fast, hours are abundant
Cons: work culture
I was paid well, but the work got stagnant. Working 14 hour days three, maybe four days a week made the job not worth it.

Retail warehouse (Current Employee), Chicago, ILAugust 2, 2014

Cons: short breaks, long days and during the season very few days off.
RETAIL WAREHOUSE
Work with attention to detail in moving products at a large sports facility. Monitor and control inventory for retail products. Move products from warehouse to the sales floor before/during events. Communicate with co-workers in person and by phone regarding inventory and product availability. Manage time well to complete tasks that – more... have strict deadlines. Track inventory using a computer database and scanner. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power jacks, following strict guidelines for safety. My -workers were nice we all got along. The hardest part of the job was when we worked a whole month straight with no days off. – less

Fun place to work at
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee), Detroit, MichiganJuly 8, 2014
Cons: not enough hours
A day at work is very fast paced, everyone comes in ready to work. We start off with our morning meeting to let us no what we have to get done today. Everyone is assigned a task anywhere from loading or unloading trucks, delivering food to proper locations, being in the freezer organizing, dry storage area, condiment carts, or moving and delivering – more... kegs and beer. There is never a down time, which I like. – less

Server/Cashier (Former Employee), Schaumburg, ILJuly 7, 2014
I worked at a baseball stadium setting so a typical day is helping customers with orders. I learned how to be patient and helpful through this job. the hardest part of the job is the heat and sometimes things can get behind schedule. The most enjoyable part is getting to watch baseball games while working and getting to create a relationship with the – more... season ticket holders because once they know you they always come back to your line just to see you and talk for a little bit to see how you are that day. – less

Great first job! Everyone was amazing, from Supervisors to Manager. Unfortunately, having a lot of days off wasn't the greatest, especially when players were out on the road. Fun Place to work if you're just starting off.

Catering Sales and Operations for all Arena events.
Sales and Catering Manager (Former Employee), Miami FLJuly 6, 2014
Pros: working with great organization (miami heat)
Cons: minimal to none in operational support.
I started with Levy in college as host in a suite level club. Moved to catering and after college was promoted to catering sales manager. In this position I was responsible for communication with all internal clients of the Arena and the Miami Heat, external clients with private events and concert and shows, our culinary team, staffing and event production. – more... We catered to wide variety of clientele from various industries, this was by far one of the best work experiences of my career thus far. I learned how to operate multiple events at once during a live basketball game or concert. I managed staff, ordered and managed inventory of products, and worked directly with clients. – less
