The Certificate Management Team located in our Edmonton office is currently seeking a full time permanent Appointing Officer.
Job responsibilities include assigning lawyers to client files that have been approved for coverage. The Appointing Officer is responsible for providing lawyers with client information, answering telephone inquiries from clients, as well as other duties as assigned.
Familiarity with a multiline phone system, the ability to work with the public and knowledge of the workings of both the criminal and civil legal systems is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good computer and organizational skills are a requirement for this position.
Successful applicant must produce a criminal record check from their local police department.
Starting Salary $2730/month
