Junior Legal Administrative Assistant

We are currently seeking an energetic and detailed self-starter to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides general administrative support; opens, retrieves, organizes and maintains files
  • Preparing materials, affidavits and court documents for filling
  • Preparation of documents, including legal documents (SCC forms and basic Accident Benefits forms)
  • Drafting routine letters, legal and business correspondence for review by paralegal
  • Assists in the drafting and preparation of legal correspondence
  • General office administrative tasks
  • Some bookkeeping duties
  • Answering and directing calls

Qualifications and skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, MS Project, Word, & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and capability to multitask/prioritize
  • Ability to interact professionally with people at various levels of an organization
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • High level of efficiency with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven strong time management and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills
  • Able to work at accelerated pace as required
