Leadership Wood Buffalo Career Opportunity
Leadership Wood Buffalo is seeking an individual interested in being a part of an organization and program devoted to building community leadership capacity in the Wood Buffalo region. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and an aptitude for thriving in an experiential adult learning environment.
This position will report to and support the key functions of the Executive Director which include administrative tasks related to the operation of the nonprofit organization, the operation of the Leadership Wood Buffalo program, fiscal management, fund development, participant recruitment and selection and alumni support.
A successful program coordinator will be equally able to work independently and in a team environment. Writing skill and a working knowledge of social media communications is necessary. We are looking for a minimum of two years of experience in a professional work environment in the areas of education, business, fund development, community development, and program or service development.
This is a flexible temporary position, working from home and in a variety of locations in the region during the execution of the program and operation of the organization. Access to a vehicle and a valid Class 5 driver’s license is a requirement. A competitive salary will be offered.
