Meetings which included management meetings to discuss days activities and toolbox meetings with the different trades. You observe the workers and ask about health issues. Do reports and send to headquarters and plan the next days meetings. Do tours to observe the safe work practices being used and discuss the values of safety equipment being used with the workers. The object of this is to get buy in and create a safe working culture with the workers. The hardest part of the job was getting the younger unskilled workers to be consistent with the safe work practices at all times. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing safe work practices being done consistently and the workers helping each other.
