The Guest Service Representative is directly responsible for the day to day operation of the front desk and for ensuring that all guests are provided friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient service in a warm and welcoming environment. They greet, register and assign rooms to guests. They should have the necessary skills and technical knowledge to be able to properly administer all reservations transmitted to the hotel from any source and issue room keys and directions to the assigned guest room. Date stamp, sort, and track incoming mail and messages. Transmit and receives telephone messages. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests and travel directions. Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts. Calculate bills, collect payment, and makes change for guests. Make and confirm reservations and perform other duties as requested or required.
