Career aspirations of those in the Lafarge Leadership Development Program include: General Managers, Project Managers, Operation Managers, Sales Managers, Quality Managers, or Senior Functional Managers. We are looking for an individual who is interested in the area of development, leadership and management of operational functions and performance in Northern Ontario.

Lafarge Leadership Development Program (LLDP)

The Lafarge Leadership Development Program offers qualified individuals an opportunity to work through developmental roles over a term of 18-24 months. The positions are designed to maximize your personal and professional learning and development. Each LLDP path is different, and custom designed for you!

Throughout this process you are coached and supported by an individual in your desired field, and upon successful completion of this program, candidates frequently continue their career path with Lafarge, moving into greater challenges and managerial roles.

To be considered for this role, qualified candidates must have a University degree in Engineering or a related field. Successful candidates must be analytical, entrepreneurial and have highly developed communication skills. Proficiency with various computer applications is essential and must be coupled with a strong drive to gain business knowledge.

  • Land and Environmental Management
  • Community Relations

This role is a full-time opportunity, offering you the experience of working closely with a Plant Manager employed by an industry leader; in a successful and established plant. It offers a high level of development & training with a competitive compensation, benefits and bonus package. This opportunity is primarily based in Northern Ontario but it is strongly recommended that candidates have both the ability and desire to be mobile within Eastern Canada for future tenure while in the LLDP program.
