The Instrumentation/Electrical Technician will perform maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of specialized and standard instrumentation including repairing electronic boards and controllers. Essential skills include familiarity with PLCs, electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics, and logic circuit drawings.
Additional duties will include writing and modifying Standard Operating Procedures and other paperwork as required; design and modification of equipment as required; and other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum degree or diploma in Engineering Technician/Technology (Mechanical or Electrical). Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is required. Patience, creativity, effective communication and teamwork are critical skills for this position. Must be available to work odd hours and shifts for servicing in order to meet analytical needs, including potential weekend work.
