LabX Media Group has over 40 employees in Canada and the US serving the scientific industry via dynamic websites and award-winning print publications. In business since 1995 and located at our Midland, Ontario headquarters since 2001, our company is again hiring to meet the needs of our expanding business. LabX Media Group consists of four primary business units: LabX.com, Lab Manager Magazine, LabWrench.com and The Scientist Magazine.
LabX Media Group offers an excellent opportunity for a Customer Account Manager. The successful candidate is someone who is confident on the phone and responsible for making outbound calls to new customers who are using our LabX website for posting classifieds and auction ads. The successful candidate will also be responsible for all customer service via phone and email, and related administrative functions for the LabX website.
- Comfortable on the phone receiving customer calls and making outbound calls
- Highly proficient with a computer, especially MS Excel and strong Internet skills
- Professional email correspondence experience is required
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Must have interest in a sales career
- 3 – 5 years’ related customer service or sales experience
- Completion of Post-Secondary degree/diploma an asset
- Experience making online purchases and understanding web commerce beneficial
The incumbent must be an eager individual who can build strong rapport with clients over the phone and with email. Seeking individuals who can observe customers and provide feedback and recommendations for website improvements.
Annual salary is commensurate with experience; company benefits to be included after the vesting period.
