I was responsible for managing all aspects of the company product line. My day always began by verifying store and inventory stock levels and placing orders. The balance of my day was never typical; I met with suppliers, negotiated pricing, reviewed new products, visited stores, etc. My tenure at La Cabine was very exciting and challenging with many long days and wonderful new experiences. I enjoyed the work and appreciated the dedication by the CEO and his commitment to the company and his employees. I especially appreciated his confidence in me which allowed me to excel and flourish in my employment. La Cabine had over 60 stores across Canada with a head office staff of only 10 to manage and operate all aspects of the company. Team work was essential; we operated under the premise of “Lean & Mean” yet we were elated and appreciative to have such a great team and work environment.
