Job Title// Store Manager
We are in search of individuals who are passionate and dedicated to developing our retail team. Creating an environment where productivity and customer/employee satisfaction are key. Exceeding customer expectations on a day-to-day basis is essential while displaying positive work ethic to the retail team. Our retail manager is ambitious and compelled to generate sales on the floor while showcasing these attributes to team members. Managers are expected to work in parallel with the retail team to maximize opportunities. You must possess the ability to reassess the business and look into innovative solutions to increase productivity and success.
Retail managers are responsible for maintaing the store to meet LOFT 82's target and policies. In addition, the retail environment should be maintained to achieve a compelling and comfortable atmosphere for customers and employees. This position entails overseeing daily store operations while working closely with the managing director, management team and retail staff to maximize sales while minimizing costs. This includes overall accountability for client service to ensure our staff are prepared to engage and interact with clients successfully.
Key Duties and Responsibilities//
Represent LOFT 82 as an advocate, showcase knowledge and support of the company while ensuring our brand is reflected well within the vicinity in which we operate
Understand the logic of business; make decisions based on analytical and problem solving skills
Continually reassess tasks/responsibilities for themselves and the team, ensuring productivity is on track while increasing opportunities
Dynamic and enthusiastic qualities in regards to generating sales and developing customer relationships
Committed to supporting their staff through communication, training and managing performance
Excels in fast paced and growing environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Motivation and desire to learn and evolve as an employee
Genuine interest for arts, culture and the fashion industry
Effective verbal, written and listening skills
Proven time management skills
Managing and motivating retail team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
Manage stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
Evaluate internal and external data to increase overall sales and profitability
Identify sales trends and evaluate sales performance against quotas
Using information technology to record sales figures for data analysis and forward planning
Respond to customer comments and inquires
3-5 years of retail management experience
Experience with POS Lightspeed system and/or ability to learn and troubleshoot.
