LM Staffing International is seeking an unpaid intern to learn and assist in the role of Recruitment Consultant. This internship will give the intern valuable, real-world experience. *Handle your own 360 - full cycle recruitment desk.
*Reach out to prospective clients through business development calls, and learn to track potential clients through our CRM system.
*Interact with clients in a professional manner to participate in the assessment and needs of the client to establish and support recruitment activities.
*Contact potential candidates to match them up with permanent positions
*Source candidates from many different resources such as resume databases, social media, traditional head hunting and online job boards. Also required to create and monitor external job postings.
*Manage, develop and expand existing candidate and client relationships.
*Maintain proactive communication with clients.
*Learn to contact and pre-screen candidates
*Coordinate interviews and facilitate the hiring process with clients.
*Learn proper phone and email etiquette.
*Learn and explore powerful software tools such as database services, FileMaker Pro, Sage ACT CRM.
*Attend workshops such as; proper phone and email etiquette, resume screening, interview techniques, etc.
*All candidates will be provided with a well fashioned customized reference letter at the end of their internship towards future employment.
*Recent graduate is preferred, but also open to 3rd/ 4th year students who are working towards/ obtained a Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in any field from a recognized post-secondary educational institution.
*Candidates MUST HAVE excellent oral and written communications skills

Strong time management and organizational skills
*An ideal intern would be available mid-November to work a minimum of 25 hours a week, Monday-Friday 9am to 2pm during normal business hours. Specific scheduling is flexible. This is an unpaid internship and will be approximately 3 months long.
