This Grants Administrative Assistant will offer support to the Grants Team at The Winnipeg Foundation regarding day to day operation of the discretionary grants program, including processing online grant applications and grant payments and organizing and maintaining the grants electronic record keeping system.
The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity; attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multi-task, anticipate needs and thrive in a deadline oriented work environment; and strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) is required.
The duties of this role include; acknowledge and process grant applications via on-line data sources, review and summarize applications for consideration by the Grants and Donor Relations teams, organize and maintain files, record and assemble committee meeting minutes and agendas, and assume special assignments, as required. Post-secondary education with client service experience is preferred. Previous experience within the not-for-profit sector considered an asset.
