Software Tester needed in Brampton, Ontario with 3-5 years of experience in the following job duties

Job Duties:

• Co-ordination with offshore team to get the task completed.
• STB Testing(Features Tested : VOD, DVR, Remote DVR, MultiRoom DVR, PIP/POP)
• Writing test cases
• Status reporting to the management
• Provide estimates to the automation activities that are performed
• Understanding the new functionalities to be tested
• Hold meetings to sync with the team
• Review the tasks that are delivered from offshore before implementation
• Complete understanding of the software system associated applications.
• Create and maintain Automation test cases from system specifications documents
• Implementation of Test Automation Framework for automation
• Efficient in test script debugging
• Prepare and maintain Defect Analysis Report and Defect Verification using CDETS.
• Generating technical documents as per standard
• Set up new and broader areas wherein Test Automation can be implemented

Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology
