The Business Solutions Specialist will provide pre-sales support, focus, and direction regarding Software Applications, Workflow Optimization, and Managed Print Services for our Major and Enterprise account pursuits. The role requires the ability to professionally and confidently represent Konica Minolta’s Solutions to the customer’s key decision makers and IT personnel.

Major Responsibilities:

-Provide pre-sales support to the sales teams focusing on Software Applications, Workflow Optimization and Managed Print Services
-Carry an assigned regional revenue target to develop, drive and support pre-sales business activities within our Major and Enterprise account pursuits
-Demonstrate expertise in new Industry Trends, Directions and Software Applications
-Support the development of and present proposals and RFP responses in collaboration with the sales teams
-Support the launch of new vertical solutions into the marketplace in collaboration with the Marketing teams
-Work with the account teams to build effective relationships with the customers key decision-makers
-Perform pre-sales workshops and solutions briefs for our new application portfolio
-Recommend solutions that meet customers identified “pain points” and add value to the overall proposal
-Ensure the timely distribution of knowledge gained through win/loss reviews to promote the successful activities of sales teams that resulted in increased sales

Qualifications:
-Significant pre-sales experience interacting with customers at all levels
-Strong written, analytical and project management background
-Demonstrated ability to apply a systematic approach to problem solving through analysis of the problem and evaluation of alternative solutions
-University degree required. Related business and technology certifications are a plus
-Individual must demonstrate a mature level of business acumen, focus, and a persuasive presence in customer-facing situations
-Working knowledge of IT Networks, Document Management, Software Applications and Managed Print Services
-An ability to work in a collaborative team environment, with a demonstrated passion to learn
-Able to develop and adapt business processes after evaluating multiple solutions
-Strong analytical and reasoning abilities
-Ability to travel as required
