Knowledge Network, BC’s public broadcaster, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Researcher to conduct and coordinate television, web and mobile research activities. You will manage research projects about our audiences and identify trends. You will be using Nielson and BBM Canada audience measurement software and Google Analytics, analyzing and interpreting data. As our in-house statistical go-to person, this role is key to supporting our programming and marketing activities, and maintaining external relations with research and media vendors.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in sociology, statistics or equivalent relevant education and have demonstrated analytical and interpretive skills. High proficiency in Excel is required, as well as proven initiative in determining requirements, conceptualizing research projects and presenting data. Experience with audience research databases would be an asset. A passion for public broadcasting would be ideal! You must have exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
