 Manage people, academics, administration, equipment on a day-to-day basis
 Prepare and coordinate Intake days, which include orientation, interviews, marking of tests and essays, placement of students and distribution of books
 Ensure that all KGIC policies and procedures are adhered to
 Review student course and teacher evaluations and address any concerns, provide feedback
 Provide academic counseling, support and discipline to students
 Ensure that the campus is clean, safe, and free of hazards by conducting regular safety inspections
 Make hiring decisions with the Academic Director, train teachers and TOCs
 Ensure compliance with Languages Canada
 Create plans of action for academic strategy and procedures
 Teach, when required
 Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretions of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing

 Undergraduate degree or professional designation accompanied by 3 years’ experience in education/ teaching
OR 5-year combination of academic and related experience
OR completed graduate studies education, business/relevant subject matter & 1-year related experience
 TESL Canada or CELTA Certificate
 An understanding of both the business and the academic sides of an organization
 Excellent conflict resolution, listening and interpersonal skills
 Effective oral and written communication skills
 Excellent computer skills
 Leadership, professionalism, sound judgment and diplomacy
 Accountability, planning and organizing
