Even with such a large number of people between 2 plants, there are many people always willing to help each other.

My main taks at work day included preparing schedules for three shift in two Plants whist managing the switchboard.

I had the opportunity to deal with customers and employees. I had to maintain a pleasant personality on both levels.

My co-workers were very co-operative and we had a family atmosphere at work.

The hardest part of the job was to able – more... to make last minute changes to the schedules and cancelling temporary workers due to changes.

I enjoyed greeting customers at the Reception and being satisfied at the end of the day that I was able to complete my day's assigments. – less

I EXPERIENCED QA SIDE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PRODUCTS INCLUDING ALL CALCULATIONS FOR BULK RECONCILIATION AND CUSTOMER RELATED MATTERS LIKE QUALITY OF PACKAGING AND SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ON A REGULAR BASES.

I have learned to praise team members and creates a positive working environment and help increased the productivity by keeping scrap products to minimum..

I worked every long weekend because of their month end inventory....weekend work was the norm.....I know many past employee's now working for other companies. KIK has a unionized work enviorment....I only lasted 1 yrs.

Very prejudice enviornment, low morale, no advancement opportunities. I hated working there, management runs the business like tyrants instead of a team.

With this job there is always work to be done and with a self starter like me, I enjoyed this. I advanced with the company developing a training program for full time KIK employees and temporaries.

i completed the pattern with boxes that was on the sheet .....

Overall it was a ok company. 40hours was all you were in there for.

I was landed this place for internship but I wish I could stay there permanently. It is a good place to work

I ran test on person care products for microbes. I worked with two other young people. A man and a woman. Managers were nice and outgoing.

Fast paced job, steady hours and work. Strict safety regulations and work procedures.

everybody makes there own rules..people passing out cause of the heat and quiting,management could care less about employes,only when a big boss comes around..social skills are talked with anger and threats..

my typical day at work was to start off with line inspections, testing bleach samples, inspect shipped goods for accuracy. I learned all aspects of manufacturing bleach and detergents agents. KIK was a ok place to work. Co-workers were great and management were alright. Overall, if they ask me to work there again, i probably would.

Clock in and tend to my line, repeating same thing, and fixing any errors that occur. I learned how to pack, stack boxes. Also how to work fluently quickly. My management was unfair, but thats life. Working line wasnt hard at all, the most enjoyable part of the job was making money.

Typical day at work, for me going through completing PM's as request by supervisor. Boiler pH test, including blow downs, checking all water softners salt levels, recording every step along the day, because all time had to be accounted for. I enjoyed learning about the large compressor units, PLC's, CNC's,and the projectile tank farm, and the assembly – more... and packing proceedures,overall the repairing and installign of the equipment with staff were the most enjoyable parts of the job, they always reminded me that our job was to be taken serious but not to serious that we couldn't enjoy the day. – less
