We are currently seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). At Kids Uncomplicated, we strongly believe in the use of innovative and advanced technologies making telepractice an integral part of every client’s program. Our unique application of telepractice is all encompassing as it includes disciplines beyond speech language pathology and also incorporates the use of our TELEROOTM Tech Tools. TELEROO™ Tech Tools involve the use of everyday accessible technology to assist parents and team members to capture natural interactions as well as facilitate consultations with just one touch of a button. These tools provide many benefits in addition to our excellent teams and are a contributing factor to the success of our programs. The SLP role is a critical component of our clinical team and the job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Provide assessment and consultation services to clients
-Develop and implement programs and activities to develop communication skills for clients
-Learn and incorporate TelerooTM Tech Tools through telepractice applications in client programs
-Collaborate and work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
-Promote a culture of forward-thinking innovation and continuous learning
-Travel to a client’s home, school, etc...; includes rural areas of Alberta and depends on the needs of the program
Our SLP will be a dynamic and energetic individual who enjoys working in a team environment with both children and peers alike. This is a full-time salaried position ;compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview. Minimum requirements for this position are:
-Degree in Speech Language Pathology
-Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologist & Speech Language Pathologists in Alberta
-Current driver’s license; access to a personal vehicle is considered an asset
-Clearance from a criminal record check including a vulnerability search
-Clearance from an intervention record check
