Our client has an immediate need for a Property Manager with experience in the non-profit sector. As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and administration of the day to day services, as well as the overall management, leasing and maintenance of the portfolio.
Your portfolio will consist of 2 buildings located in Vancouver, BC with future plans to take on another building. Some of your other duties will include maintenance staff supervision, assisting in preparing of annual operating budgets, rent collections and deposits, keeping records up to date and assisting the Supervisor. You will also be interviewing prospective tenants and inspecting all units upon move-in and move-out.
To qualify for this role, you will need top notch organizational skills as well as good computer and communication skills. Experience in a similar property management role, solid knowledge of RTA and excellent tenant relations are a must. You should have the ability to work on your own and be accountable for your properties as well as having a proactive attitude. Understanding of BC Housing procedures and policies is a major asset.
