We are looking for a full time professional with managerial experience. This job requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
This position will support approximately 40 full time employees, 200 part time employees and over 500 independent contractors. Candidates with their CHRP designation and/or over 5 years experience working in all facets of HR will be preferred. The selected candidate will have sound knowledge of and experience working with Ontario's Employment Standards Act, WSIB, Ministry of Labour, Occupational Health and Safety Act and other statutory laws.
This role will act as the legal advisor for the company with regards to employment law related issues. Please highlight experience related to this in your application.
As our HR Manager you will be responsible for a wide variety of HR tasks including but not limited to: policy writing, contract development, employee recruitment and selection, training and development, health and safety adherence, employee relations, maintaining employee and independent contractor files, group benefit program administration, and employee development. In addition this role will provide coaching to employees and managers as required to ensure performance and productivity levels are met.
The successful candidate will be well rounded, approachable, and open minded. They will demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Our HR manager will be engaging, work harmoniousy as a member of our management team and bring forward new ideas.
Start at $50,000 annually plus group benefits after 3 months and 2 weeks of vacation per year.
