WAREHOUSE WORKER (Former Employee), Brampton, ON – May 13, 2013
Learned to work in any area within the warehouse environment. The most difficult part of the job is having days with large orders and excessive heavy lifting. The most enjoyable part of the job is the variety of individuals that one is able to meet and work with.
Production Technician (Former Employee), Canton, MS – December 16, 2013
Pros: elible for great benefits
Cons: no union, no justice, no understanding, dont follow the rules in the handbook
A typical day at work was full of drama. It felt like I was in high school again. I learned if you don't make friends there no one will be honest or have your back. My manager wasn't concerned about people gossiping or work bullying each other because it was done to him as well. A few of the coworkers of mine were very pleasant others very disrespectful. – more... The job was very easy as long as I kept up with the production line. And I can say I enjoyed being able to pay my bills on time. – less
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Channahon, IL – December 4, 2013
Pros: pay was great
Cons: actual company had no training or work for me to do
Kelly Services is a great staffing company and had an assignment lined up for me in no time at all. It was a long-term contract position in which they had everything up and running by the time I started my first day. However, the actual company where the contract was did not have their stuff together, there was no training or effort from others to show – more... me what daily expectations were. Kelly was very understanding and I was allowed to give my 2 weeks and leave that position. – less
temporary (Former Employee), Destin, FL – November 24, 2013
Pros: plenty of time to look for other jobs
Cons: never have jobs
I have been registered with them for a while and I stay in contact weekly and they never seem to have jobs. I have never seen a temp service that is this slow. Whoever there account executives are need to be fired if they cannot obtain more jobs for their registered applicants. Kelly is known for having better pay among other services.
Recruiter/Staffing Supervisor (Former Employee), Ottawa, OH – November 22, 2013
The job consisted of placing temporary employees to fill an order for a customer. During my time there I became proficient in Microsoft applications. The management was helpful and my co-workers were great.
my day at work was good. I learned alot about the machines i work around. The inspections i did for the parts. What to look for. Management could have been better. My co-workers were good to work with. The hardest part about my job was working on the post mold machine. The most enjoyable part of the job,was getting a dinner when we had no accidents. – more... We did alot of safety training. – less
