Student (Current Employee), San Antonio, TXAugust 5, 2014
This is one the worst places to attend as a student or as an employee, is a hostile work environment and students are just dollar signs

Registrar Specialist (Current Employee), Vista, CAJuly 18, 2014
Pros: benefits, luncheons, etc.
Cons: health coverage, recognition, etc.
Great people with great students day in and day out. Many activities and events going on for both staff and students. Co workers are team oriented. Worst part of the job is job security due to annual rifts but most enjoyable part of the job is coming to work everyday and enjoying the people and the environment.

Pros: the students
Cons: changes
Very productive online environment with continued education seminars, I enjoyed helping students, advising, encouraging, as needed, good cohort team co-workers, the only negative, was that the university was down sizing and going through a lot of changes which affected the instructors directly or indirectly.

Kaplan prepared me with the skill to assist others better on things that they need
Admissions Representative (Former Employee), Fort Lauderdale, FLJuly 7, 2014
Being at Kaplan, I was able to help prepare others find what career fits well with their personality, how to get started, then working towards accomplishing their goal step by step. The best part about the position, which is also the most challenging part, is being able to work well with others which has taught me how to approach different personalities – more... with co-workers as well as potential students. – less

Director of Admissions - Graduate Admissions (Former Employee), Fort Lauderdale, FLJune 20, 2014
Pros: benefits and no tuition costs for employees
Cons: senior leadership, lack of organizational effectiveness, regular layoffs, low morale, lack of interdepartmental teamwork
The organization provided a competitive salary and free tuition to employees, which was a great benefit. There were several disconnects that caused poor employee morale due to regular layoffs. Organizational instability over the course of several years resulted in employee lack of trust/belief in senior leadership, the direction the company was headed, – more... and the products being delivered. From first-hand experience, the education provided to students was amazing and the faculty was top notch. I have no regrets having worked there and believe my efforts contributed to the greater good of the university. I wish them the best and hope internal issues are resolved to ensure the longevity of the organization. There is a lot of talent within the organization that is not being maximized to its full potential...unfortunate, but at the same time, promising! – less
