Kane Veterinary Supplies Ltd is an established Canadian Wholesale Distributor of production and companion animal products. The successful candidate we are seeking will have leadership capabilities, the ability to promote enthusiasm and has a passion for the pet industry.
Develop and foster relationships with both the Kane team and key business partners. Lead and participate with these key business partners and the Kane team to define product strategies, pricing, promotions and launches while using effective negotiating/buying skills.
Establish and maintain strong relations and superior communication with inside and outside sales representatives on a National level.
Effectively set sales expectations, review territory manager performance, create sales goals and targets. Participate in setting new goals and expectations for the Pet Department.
Manage inventories with the goal to create a healthy relationship between sales and purchasing.
Communicate vital ordering information, programs and discounts with purchasing department to ensure healthy inventory levels.
Develop sales tools and collateral
Work with sales teams and customers to effectively market product.
Minimum 3 to 5 years Management / Leadership experience within the Pet Industry
Strong and effective communication skills
Positive leadership and team building skills
Work effectively and efficiently withing a team environment
Excellent organizational skills
Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
Self-motivated and disciplined team player
