Lean Consultant - Healthcare

* Project Delivery
o Responsible for leading the lean project implementation
o Ensure projects are delivered on time and to target in line with Client contract
o Ensure work is delivered to exceed Client expectations
o Set up detailed work schedules and the framework to enable monitoring and reporting of Client deliverables
o Regular communication with Lead Consultant and Client as per project reporting schedules
* Quality and Client Satisfaction
o As a team member, delivers high quality work
o Ensure the relevant processes in place are used to monitor and manage quality
o Work with Lead Consultant/Managing Consultant to ensure Client feedback, complaints and satisfaction are recorded and handled professionally
o Ensure that Client projects remain on target and deliver expected outcomes always seeking to exceed Client expectations
o Ensure Client complaints are addressed and rectified in a timely manner
o Liaise with all supporting functions to ensure that robust countermeasures are implemented and operational processes are continually improved
* Operational
o Work as part of a Client facing delivery team to develop and implement Lean improvement projects
o Support and contribute to the immediate team and support requirements with cross-functional teams
o Manage workload through effective planning and prioritization
o Communicate through a variety of media sources (reports, presentations, timing plans)
o Contribute to internal and Client weekly status reports
o Coach and advise Client teams in practical application of improvement tools and techniques
o Collect, validate and analyze data to support engagement objectives
o Provide monthly expenses to internal Finance Department in a timely manner

Skills Required:
* Personal Skills
o Ability to engage and motivate the Client
o Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
o Excellent communication, people and motivational skills
o Problem solving approach and drive to develop innovative business solutions
o Enthusiasm and passion for team working, continuous improvement and service excellence
* Technical Skills
o Strong IT skills: word processing, databases and presentation software packages
o Understanding of Lean or Six Sigma principles and the philosophy of the Toyota Production System
o Established and proven internal and external consulting skills
* Experience
o Demonstrable experience of building and developing a continuous improvement culture using Lean principles, either internally or externally
o Proven track record of developing and strengthening relationships with Clients to ensure strong relationships are forged at all levels
o Experience in delivering and managing projects on time and to target
o Excellent planning and scheduling skills in a project management environment
o Working knowledge and application of different business improvement approaches
o Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in any of healthcare, engineering or manufacturing
