Our government client is looking for Senior Standards Analyst with health IT systems experience for 11 month contract in Toronto, ON.
Candidate’s Experience and Qualifications:
a) Demonstrate strong knowledge of and experience working with health IT systems and requirements (5+ years).
b) Demonstrate knowledge and strong understanding of jurisdictional electronic health record projects in particular electronic medical record and medication management systems, and other associated healthcare information systems in use within a jurisdiction.
c) Demonstrate understanding of pan-Canadian standards, Canadian Approved Standards, and experience applying them within the Healthcare environment, preferably in Ontario (4+ years).
d) Active member of the Infoway Standards Collaborative (SC), including participant in Standards Collaborative Working Group (SCWGs).
e) Demonstrate knowledge and experience with High Level HL7 Clinical Document Architecture, and related implementation guides.
f) Demonstrate expertise in High Level (HL7) methodology and the application of High Level (HL7) messaging standards (versions 2 and 3), the Reference Information Model (RIM), HL7 v3 products (4+ years), and experience with HL7 v3 tooling.
g) Demonstrated experience conducting detailed research and standards gap analysis and recommendations (4+ years).
h) Demonstrated experienced with maintenance of health information standards across multiple health domains (e.g. lab, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging, primary and primary care) (4+ years).
i) Demonstrated experience with standards conformance issues and developing conformance profiles.
j) Demonstrate broad knowledge of clinical concepts and processes (5+ years).
k) Demonstrated experience conducting stakeholder consultation and gathering business requirements (4+ years).
l) Demonstrate knowledge and experience working in data and technology standards and implementation (3+ years).
m) Demonstrated experience with Canada Health Infoway, Standard Collaborative and healthcare systems both in Ontario and other jurisdictions.
n) Demonstrated experience with Canada Health Infoway Tooling like Remixer, and Conformance Tools.
o) Demonstrated Experience with EA Sparx, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Extensible Markup Language (XML) Spy and other related data exchange support tools.
