Summer Sales Assistant (Former Employee), Moncton, NBMay 23, 2012
Pros: company truck, cell phone and gas card
Cons: very long hours
Everyday was different, it was a continuous process of learning new things about John Deere products and services. Management was great by offering us the flexibility and autonomy of doing what was best for the company. The co-workers made coming to work very enjoyable with everyone being in a good mood and happy to be working for John Deere. The hardest part was learning because of the lack of training that was provided at John Deere, however the most enjoyable aspect of my work was the independence and confidence that they had in me to accomplish certain tasks with very minimal supervision.

Safe and stable, but a little stale
Advertising Copywriter (Former Employee), Olathe, KSJanuary 20, 2015
Pros: good benefits
Cons: boring
A great, established brand, but the creative department is older and the ideas tend to be on the conservative side. They do a little bit of everything, tv, radio, print, catalogs. None of it is super exciting, but it is stable.

Accounts Manager (Former Employee), Cary, NCJanuary 20, 2015
Pros: helpling commercial dealers
Cons: short-term job
Resolving issues for commercial dealers on a daily basis. Keeping the relationship between John Deere and dealers was the job. Maintaining those relationships were the highlight of the day. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with a great team at John Deere and putting out fires with the dealers.

John Deere is a great place to work
Human Resources Coordinator (Former Employee), Davenport, IAJanuary 20, 2015
Pros: the environment
Cons: management structure
I thoroughly enjoyed working for John Deere. My day was never the same from day to day I would have different tasks handed to me daily and felt accomplished by the time I went home.
Management was great for the most part. There were difficulties with the structure of management which put me in in a position of having several managers that I reported to for each task and for daily work.
