Inventory Control Specialist
Reporting to the Parts Manager and located in Calgary, AB the Inventory Control Specialist will support inventory control through parts picking, cycle counting, and warehouse management. The working hours for this position are Monday- Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. The salary range is between $40,00 to $50,000/year depending on experience, plus benefits, vacation time and other company perks. This position will also be responsible for, but not limited to:
*Creating pick lists and picking parts for sales and service staff.
*Monitoring, maintaining, organizing and adjusting part's physical and computer locations.
*Cycle counting and reconciling numbers in the system.
*Adding used parts into inventory.
*Entering parts into Point of Sale system.
*Effectively communicating work order parts status.
*Communicating inventory stock shortages and minimum order points.
*Locating stock to minimize stock damage.
*Entering used stock part numbers and locations into the parts management system.
As an ideal candidate, you will have previous warehouse management experience coupled with a positive attitude that is customer service focused. In addition, you will have the following capabilities and experience:
*Previous Inventory Management experience considered an asset.
*Previous experience using a forklift.
*Strong computer knowledge.
*The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests.
*The ability to work independently.
*Effective and professional communication.
*The ability to adapt and change to shifting priorities.
*The ability to be flexible and deadline orientated.
