THE OPPORTUNITY | OFFICE MANAGER + ADMINISTRATOR

This full-time Office Manager + Administrator position is critical to the success of the day-to-day operations at JE Taylor Plumbing & Mechanical. Reporting directly to the company's president, the position is responsible for managing, coordinating and documenting many of the company’s administrative tasks including estimating, payroll, accounts payable/receivable and human resources.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES | OFFICE MANAGER + ADMINISTRATOR

administration
o Client + customer communications (email, telephone)
o Employee communications (scheduling, utilization)
o Vendor + supplier management
o General office coordination + management
o Creating, implementing and managing company processes + procedures
o Coordination of all couriers, packages

accounts receivable + payable
o Project estimates and invoice management
o Data entry
o Accounts payable / receivable
o Inventory + supply management

payroll + resource management
o Group benefits plan management
o Payroll coordination + management
o Relationship management - suppliers + customers

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS | OFFICE MANAGER + ADMINISTRATOR

Professional attitude + aptitude
High level of comfort working independently in a home office environment
Exceptional organizational skills
Superior communications skills (written + verbal)
PC + Technology Savvy
Familiarity with Simply Accounting + Microsoft Office Software Suites
Punctual
Customer-focused attitude
Reliable
Trustworthy
2++ years experience in office management in the construction industry an asset
