Industrial Electrician/Maintenance Mechanic (Automotive)

Our Client, a Tier One World Leading Supplier in the Automotive Industry, is looking for a hands-on mechanically inclined Electrician to fill the role of Maintenance Technician. This is a Permanent, Full Time position working in a state-of-the-art facility with a great team of dedicated Maintenance Technicians. Our client offers an excellent starting hourly salary and benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Respond to Equipment Breakdowns quickly, safely, accurately and efficiently
- Preventative maintenance and repair automated robotic systems (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman)
- Install and maintain building and production electrical equipment (substations, distribution centres, panels, cables, raceways, conduits, outlets, lights, Kawasaki, Motoman robots)
- Execute, record and report tests, inspections, settings and other preventative maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repairing all breakdowns
- Maintain records and paperwork accordingly for all duties assigned
- Support New Implementation, modifications and retrofits accordingly

Experience and requirements

- 5 years of Electrical and Mechanical Experience within a highly automated environment
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is an asset
- Experience troubleshooting and programming PLC’s (Allen Bradley and Siemens)

Education and Training

Certified Licensed Electrician (442). Additional Millwright Certificate (433) would be a strong asset

Salary/ Rate: Start $30.25, after 6 months $31.85, also there is a .50 shift premium. Benefits Included
