IPAC Services is a leading oil field services company and we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager for our Electrical & Instrumentation Division. We are looking for a candidate with a background in managing & leading comprehensive Electrical & Instrumentation projects.

Work Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta

Basic Job Requirements:

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Operations Manager leads and guides our Electrical Division. This person will be a Journeyman in the Electrical Trade, hold a Project Management Certification or PMP. This person will have previous construction management experience and 5-10 years in a Supervisory/Management role. This is a salaried position and compensation will be based upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:

~Coordinates and leads all day to day operating functions of the Electrical Division

~Responsible for developing and applying project management and technical competencies related to Operations functions

~Manages client inquiries, pricing and proposals for clients

~Conducts regular follow-up with clients and Managers to determine effectiveness and success of division based on set criteria

~Responsible for building relationships clients and agencies in the local area

~Maintains effective communication with all reporting Managers, Supervisors and employees

~Reviews, schedules and strategically plans project budgets

~Provides leadership in implementing and carrying out project schedules and plans

~Provides employee training and development

~Overall responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of performance of operational results

~This person will lead and manage all projects assigned and monitor revenue weekly & monthly

Qualifications:

~Journeyman Certification

~PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification

~A minimum of 5-10 years of Supervisory/Management experience

Skills & Abilities:
~Excellent team building and leadership skills

~Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

~Possess exceptional organizational skills

~Must be self-directed, task and goal oriented

~Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
