Dedicated telephone based SAM and licenses compliance resource for Microsoft Breadth segment. This person is responsible for generating revenue and long term compliance by driving payment for unlicensed usage of Microsoft software within either the Small Business or Mid-Market Segments

Prospecting/Pipeline Development/Telephone Sales - Results focused and able to develop and execute sales strategies to exceed Invenio's expectations

  • Drive for revenue opportunities in the managed and unmanaged account base meeting revenue quota
  • Follow up on pending customer orders for license shortfalls
  • Drive customer and partner satisfaction through understanding customer needs and helping them acquire the licenses they need
  • Identify roadblocks within accounts affecting deployments and engaging resources to remove obstacles
  • Proactively engage customers around compliance campaigns
  • Proactively drive SAM adoption within customers accounts and through Partners as a way to avoid future non-compliance
  • Crisp articulation of the benefits of software asset management and compliance
  • Update customer end user license information using Microsoft license tools or equivalent
  • Establishes good working relationships within SMSP including Tele-Partner Account Managers

Training and Experience: Highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

Job Knowledge:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in IT
  • Bachelors Degree (or comparable) in relevant area of study
  • Advanced communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, combined with high levels of organizational ability
  • Good understanding of inside sales techniques
  • Good knowledge of features, benefits and competitive positioning of Microsoft products
  • Proficient in computer systems, in particular experience with navigating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems an advantage
  • Bilingualism Desired (French & English)
  • CRM Experience (Seibel, Onyx, Pivotal, etc.)
  • Must demonstrate leadership abilities and maintain a strategic, visionary outlook
  • Ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exposure to and Knowledge of Microsoft Licensing we be a definite asset.

Sales Achievement: Proven quota attainment selling intangible professional services


  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. (Equivalent experience is defined as two years of related contact center, industry, sales, marketing services or technical support experience for every year of college education not completed towards a bachelor's degree.)
