Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, results-orientated individual to join our team as a Project Manager within Intrinsik Health Sciences group, working within our Chemicals and Consumer Products division. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, executing and delivery of a fast-paced, on-going toxicological risk assessment program that aims to assess the safety of consumer products, art materials and toys;
  • Daily planning, execution and delivery of high quality reports;
  • Ensuring that the program continues to remain on budget and on schedule;
  • Managing day-to-day client interactions;
  • Communicating effectively with clients and external project teams and continually seeking opportunities to increase client satisfaction as you foster and develop lasting client relationships;
  • Reviewing and evaluating technical work of other staff dedicated to the program;

Desired Skills & Experience
The successful application would ideally have the following qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in life sciences, toxicology, biochemistry, chemistry or related field of study, with preference given to those who hold at a minimum a Masters degree;
  • Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in evaluating the safety of products (consumer products, chemicals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, toys), which may include proficiency in critically analyzing and interpreting scientific data and/or literature, conducting human health risk assessments in accordance with current scientific principles, preparation of quality reports and interaction with relevant regulators;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of project management experience, with demonstrated ability to execute projects on-schedule and within budget;
  • Excellent client management, organizational and communication (oral and written) skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment;
  • Ability to multi-task (multiple projects/issues) and adapt to dynamic work situations where priorities are subject to change at any time;
