Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support field production operations staff with technical issues resulting from production upsets
- Prepare processing plant, field debottlenecking and optimization studies to reduce production costs and increase productivity
- Provide technical support to various departments including production engineering, production operations, facilities engineering, and reliability engineering and inspections
- Re-design processes and provide de-rates for pressure equipment
- Participate in Process Hazard Assessments (HAZOP) of existing processing facilities
- Control management of change (MOC) process as required for smaller projects involving changes to existing processes

Experience & Qualifications

- 10 to 12 years of conventional oil and gas related experience
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
- Registered with APEGA
- Proficient at interpreting engineering documentation (BFD, PFD, P&ID, plot plans, isometrics, shut down keys, control narratives and safeguarding philosophies)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Capable of effectively presenting technical information to technical and non-technical staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
