The Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC) is a nationwide lottery organization incorporated in 1976 under the Canada Corporation Act and owned by the ten provincial governments. ILC works closely with Canada’s five regional lotteries to undertake initiatives of collective interest to its regional members, cultivate collaboration to act on high return national initiatives, and drive responsible growth of lotteries and instant games. Current national lottery products include the popular Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max games, as well as a variety of instant scratch games such as the $100 Million$ Extravaganza.
ILC’s mission is to act in the collective interests of the regional lotteries to drive strategic and financial value for shareholders. Its objective is to foster, oversee and champion national lotteries that afford relevant customer experiences and deliver sustainable revenue growth within the context of exacting standards and corporate responsibility.
ILC is undergoing strategic renewal and is seeking a Director of National Lottery & Instant Games. The position will be accountable for driving the transformation of ILC into a more forward-focused and results-driven organization that supports regional lottery member goals and delivers successful national lottery experiences in a reliable, responsible and customer-oriented manner.
Director of National Lottery and Instant Games
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will foster collaboration, ensure operational excellence, and demonstrate thought leadership as you work closely with regional lotteries and ILC member committees to propel growth and vitality of ILC’s national games’ portfolio. You will oversee ILC’s national draw operations to ensure exacting standards and support initiatives to build revenue growth of national lotteries (Lotto Max & Lotto 6/49) and a number of national instant tickets. You will be responsible for the roll out of ILC’s new “project management charter system” to help create value and leverage national opportunities with clear performance metrics and timelines. You will provide strategic leadership, oversight and direction to the planning, evaluation, game mechanics, day-to-day management and flawless execution of ILC’s lottery products, draws and instant games.
You have a strong track record of driving change, success in operational leadership, and outstanding communication and influencing skills. You are genuinely customer-focused, a strong relationship builder and have solid business acumen to understand game mechanics. You are accomplished at driving a change agenda and improved business performance.
