Interactive Living Inc. is a full-service technology firm dedicated to providing integrated home-technology systems. We are specialists in the design, supply & installation of audio/visual systems, lighting control & automation systems, voice & data communications systems, safety systems, and heating control & automation systems. We serve the mid- to high-end residential and light commercial markets throughout the greater Vancouver area.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to execute our sales strategy with a professional target client. The ideal candidate would have existing sales experience and/or trusted relationships Architects and Home Designers who primarily work in the mid- to high-end residential and light commercial markets. This is a direct sales position for a small business with lots of opportunity to contribute to and benefit from the growth of the business. The job is a commissioned position structured to provide generous compensation (with no cap) for successful candidates.
Responsibilities
Executing sales strategy
Creating new sales opportunities
Qualifying prospective clients
Arranging meetings with clients
Create & present proposals to clients
Following up with clients
Maintaining good client relationships
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Own a vehicle, and hold a valid and clear BC drivers license
Frequent travel throughout Lower Mainland, and periodic travel outside Lower Mainland
Skills & Experience
Existing sales experience or relationships with one or more of the following required – Architects, Designers, and Interior Designers
Demonstration of a high close rate
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Compensation
Fully commission based, no cap, negotiable based on the candidates skills & experience and the value they bring to the business
