InspireHealth, a leader in Canada in providing programs that integrate health and wellness programs into acute illness treatment, is seeking a Nutritionist (contracts) to join our team. We are seeking a casual Nutritionist to join our Victoria team.


InspireHealth initiatives are designed to create an optimal cancer recovery environment supported by current evidence-based research. Integrative care actively engages patients to take charge of their health. At InspireHealth, we focus on healthy nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction. By providing practical programs, patients are empowered to play an active role in their recovery.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Nutritionist is responsible for providing integrative cancer care services to members and their families directly through individual consultations. They will also work as a part of the Nutrition Team and perform other related duties as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact and join a team that has provided integrative health and wellness care to over 7,200 British Columbians (BC) diagnosed with cancer since 1997.


As an InspireHealth Nutritionist, you meet the following requirements:

Hold a diploma in holistic nutrition
Registered with the IONC or CAHN-PRO (or are in the process of doing so)
Have computing and communication skills
Appropriate liability insurance is also required
You are noted for having a holistic patient-centered philosophy and style with clinical skills supportive of patient empowerment and a compassionate presence. Your leadership, facilitation, and presentation skills will be called upon in this role. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work with integrity, self-responsibility, and accountability. Although you are able to work independently, you also work effectively as part of a team.
